Evann Rose Futscher (b. 2001, Orange County, CA) is a Southern California–based abstract expressionist artist. Working primarily through intuitive, gestural mark-making, she uses line as a visual language to explore movement, emotion, and presence. Rooted in instinct rather than premeditation, each piece emerges through a process of automatic painting and drawing, capturing what exists between control and release.
Throughout her life, painting has served as a form of personal expression and reflection. In seasons of confusion, hopelessness, gratitude, and celebration, her work has become a space to slow down and connect more deeply with God. This spiritual foundation is woven quietly into each piece, shaping both process and intention.
Drawing inspiration from the California coast, personal memory, and her faith, Evann’s work invites stillness.
